I am Praveen Khandelwal from Raipur-Chhattisgarh.Praveen Khandelwal
My mother aged 65 was diagnosed ovarian cancer stage III-C. We consulted Dr. S H Advani for her treatment who advised us to undergo three round of chemotherapy and thereafter, assessment for surgery will be done.
After these three rounds of chemotherapy, Dr. Advani referred us to Dr. Prashant Nyati for surgery assessment. We met Dr. Nyati for the first time at H N Reliance Hospital, Mumbai for consultation which is thought will be a brief one and mainly suggesting some tests to check the surgery fitness.
Dr. Nyati as a through professional listened to us from the beginning of our problems and went in detail of each and every tests and treatment we had undergone. He then briefed us about the procedure he will be doing and explained us in detail the pros cons and after effects of the surgery.
Honestly, my mother wasn't mentally prepared to listen all that. I was also kind of puzzled how to contain her that everything will be fine. Dr. Nyati understood our state of mind and counseled us with such compassion that when we left his chamber we had full faith in him.
He, during the whole process of surgery, post-op and recovery in the hospital always available for guiding us at a drop of a message. My mother use to really cheer up during his daily follow up visits and he was very particular about his patients complaints and try to address them instantly.
He is very sincere and a down-to-earth human being and astute doctor who is at his best in his work.
I wish him a successful and fulfilling life.
